Metallic Brown Smokey Eye | Makeup Tutorial

Welcome back!  I wore this metallic brown smokey eye out to girls’ night last weekend and decided to film it because I absolutely loved how it came out.  I used the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette to create this look because it’s become my go-to palette when I have to pack an overnight bag.  Unfortunately, that item was limited edition and is no longer available, but the classic Chocolate Bar Palette or the Tartelette In Bloom palette would be great alternatives.

If you don’t have any of the palettes I mentioned above, don’t worry!  Grab a palette or single shadows you love – you will need a transition shade (slightly darker than your skin), a few medium to dark brown mattes and shimmers (choose what you’re comfortable with for your skin tone and makeup style), and a light and light to medium shimmery shade. I chose to pair a thin wing and some natural lashes with this look, but definitely do what YOU feel compliments your eyes and personal style – whether it’s some brown mascara or the most HELLO falsies you can find 😉

I used my custom lip color that I created at the Bite Beauty Lip Lab with this look because it’s my favorite go-to lip color (I mean, duh, I created it to be something I love) but you can really pair any lip color with this eye look.  Another reason I love this look so much!  I kept the blush neutral and opted for a more gold toned highlight to complement the bronze and gold shades in the eye look.

Watch the video below for a step by step tutorial, and scroll down a little further for links to all the products I used.  I hope you enjoy this look and will recreate it for yourself!
