makeup for a 2 week trip

makeup to pack for a 2 week trip

I got back from an amazing trip to Tokyo, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City about a month ago and finally got around to filming a few videos!  This one is all about my essential makeup for a 2 week trip!  I did buy one item specifically for my trip (the Lorac Unzipped Gold Palette) because I didn’t have a palette with mattes and shimmers that was slim enough to fit in my makeup bag.  I’m sure you’re immediate thought was, “Um, hello, Urban Decay Naked anything!” – but the packaging and overall palette size was way too big for my makeup bag.  I’m really glad that I bought the Lorac palette because the shadows are SO pigmented and creamy, and the range was perfect for creating a variety of daytime and glamorous evening looks.  They also have a Rose Gold version (which I love but didn’t get because of my aforementioned Naked 3)… just saying, these shadows are SO easy to work with.

Other than the Lorac palette, I pulled everything from my collection (ok, except for stuff I bought during the trip…).  It was really hard to choose the products I’d use everyday for 2 weeks because I switch things up daily – from my foundation and concealer to my eyeliner.  The items I chose worked out really well, which is awesome because it will be so much easier to pack next time I take a long vacation!  You can watch my video below, and scroll down a little further for a list of products.
