Kathleenlights x ColourPop Where the Night Is Swatches

You guys!!  I was so excited about Kathleenlights x ColourPop latest collaboration, Where the Night Is, and it does NOT disappoint!  I bought this the day it released (Dec 26th) and finally received it this week.  I’ve already done an evening look featuring Porter, Weenie, and Midnight and can’t wait to do another that showcases Telepathy.  This quad can be purchased as a full quad, or in singles, which is awesome for those of you who love one or two shades but wouldn’t wear them all.  I swatched everything above so you can see the full collection, and put individual swatches and comparison swatches down below.  Hope this is helpful if you are thinking about buying the collab or something from it!

Comparison Swatches

Weenie vs. La La

colourpop weenie vs lala

I bought La La before Kathleen announced the colors for Where The Night Is, otherwise I probably would not have purchased this.  As you can see, they are pretty similar with La La being slightly darker.  It was hard to capture in a photo, but I did also find Weenie to have a more metallic finish than La La which is weird because La La is supposed to have the Ultra Metallic Finish per the ColourPop website. Anyway, these are similar enough that I would probably skip one if I didn’t already have both 🙂

Porter vs. Stereo

I bought Stereo at the same time that I purchased La La, and going on the swatches available on the ColouPop site alone, I probably would not have purchased Stereo if I had Porter already.  That said, Stereo swatched VERY differently on me than it appears online.  On the ColourPop site it looks super pink and shimmery, and in person it is really a dark maroon with some pink glitter in it.  I was actually pretty disappointed in Stereo since I have a matte maroon shade in my collection already, but have loved using it with Porter.  I definitely see myself creating more looks using Stereo now that I’m over the initial disappointment 😉

I hope these Where the Night Is swatches and comparison swatches were helpful!  I’ll be uploading a tutorial soon on my YouTube Channel too, so if you don’t already, please subscribe so you can see it as soon as it’s up!
