I am SUPER excited to introduce Tonie of TonieGirl as my first guest blogger! Tonie and I became friends some time ago via Twitter and have a knack for just missing each other when we’re visiting the others’ city. Tonie has an awesome collection of smoothie recipes on her blog – not only are they delicious, but she also tells you why she chose each ingredient based on its health benefits! You can see her full collection of smoothie recipes here, but I’ve got the recipe for her orange banana strawberry smoothie below.
June is here and so is summer {happy dance}! I think we are probably all excited for days on days of sun and warm weather. The only downside is the blasting AC at work, which will still have me dressing like summer is months away. You know, the summer dress with a thick chunky sweater over it. I also notice that when I constantly go between warm outside weather and freezing inside AC, I sometimes end up with a cold. Not my best summer look. So boost your immune system with a tropical smoothie that should be enjoyed on a beach…or in an office.

Hello, lovelies! I’m Tonie from TonieGirl and delighted to be guest blogging on Whisk & Heels. I’m a thirty-something living the Portland life and believe life is too short to dress boring, food can never be too spicy, champagne is perfect for all occasions, and one cannot have too large a party.
